Red Amaranthus Recipes - Tambdi Bhaji

Ingredients

Red amaranth leaves - 2 bunches
Onion - 1
Garlic - 6 pods
Green chilli - 2
Mustard - 1 tsp
Salt - as needed
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Oil - as needed

 

 

           

Method

1. Wash amaranth leaves, cut finely and set aside.
2. Slice onions, green chilli and cut garlic finely.
3. Heat oil in a vessel.
4. Add mustard and when it splutters, add onion, green chilli, garlic and fry for a few minutes.
5. Add amaranth leaves, salt, coconut, mix well and cook on a low flame.
6. When the leaves are cooked, remove the vessel from the stove.
